A penis extender is made of a basal plastic ring with an indentation in place for the corpus spongiosum. This ring is mounted around the base of the penis. Two metal screws are attached to the base ring for manual traction support; both these screws have left-handed (reverse) threads. The tension can be increased by turning the screws in a clockwise direction. The spring mounted traction system is contained inside both metal cylinders on each bar. At the end, the two mounting bars (and any extension bars) are bridged by a plastic support piece. The plastic support piece has two slits through which the ends of the silicone comfort-strap are inserted.
